Dear All,

I would like to take this moment to thank Dora , the group

moderator and my 'right hand' person, friend and professional

associate for her continued support of this site, for believing in

its cause and most of all for KEEPING the site clean and clear of spam.

While we get our share of odd posts, posts that have nothing to do

with this site, it is DORA, who does the DAILY clean up not I!!! I do

not know what I would do with out her. Further I want to say that it

is BECAUSE of her continued service that this site is as great as it

is. Keeping the board messages appropriate, clean and worthy of

posting is her personal goal. While is has been one of the original

duties as site moderator, she has performed it with a personal conviction.

I am so very grateful and in debt to Dora . Please join me in

thanking Dora for her daily upkeep of this site and diligence.

I will also like to add that she has been very busy with this clean up

lately. We have had an unusual increase in such odd postings. IF we

get more of the same it will be up to Dora as to how we handle

postings. Perhaps they will become totally moderated. This would slow

down the immediate feedback. I do not think anyones wants this. But if

it (the daily clean up) begins to get too much to handle for her or

me, it may come to this.

Look around folks:

Techlectures is moderated

Pharmacy Island is not

Pharm Tech Talk is not

This site is not

The price that one pays for NO moderation is the task of daily clean

up. It also means that each member must 'look away', know that the

garbage posts are being cleaned out daily from the site and tolerate

the posts as 'temporary' and just accept it as a part of internet life.

It means especially that those who get individual emails or daily

digests, that they who do not visit the site, be exceptionally

tolerant of the few junk posts and spam that we get.

It means that those who do visit the site be exceptionally thankful to

Dora and her good works.

I am very grateful to the members of this site who have looked the

other way, and ignored the few non-pharm tech posts, and have

continued to allow learning, teaching, professional growth and

networking to take place on this site.

Once again: I am so very grateful and in debt to Dora .

Please join me in thanking Dora for her daily upkeep of this site and

diligence.

Respectfully,

Jeanetta Mastron CPhT BS
