Guest guest
Gloria- I loved that! It is amazing how the *regrets* we have are over the things we *didn't* do and should have--rather than the mistakes we make. Quite a motivation to take chances and risks, isn't it? Guest guest
Hi Judi, I share your sentiments exactly. Debs has been on my mind constantly and I am so troubled by her condition. Every spare moment brings a plea to God to give her and her family strength. I hope that she responds to the meds and pulls out of this. Guest guest
Well said, Judi. This group is an amazing bunch of friends, and we're richer for having you as a part of us. Love and hugs, Carol [ ] Living Dear friends, I cried so much this afternoon thinking about how Deb and her family are suffering, and how wrong it seems to me. I am very thankful that there is a tiny glimmer of hope for her now, and I will keep pestering God with my prayers for her recovery. While she is alive, there is life, and life is precious. I am thankful tonight for all of you, and how close a bond we have formed. Think of it--many different individuals in different stages of different diseases and challenges and situations and places, yet we are all supporting each other. And we haven't even known each other long, never even hugged in person. Each of you is willing to put yourselves aside for a few moments to pray for another. That is unselfishness like I've never experienced before, and it is mind- boggling! Soon we will celebrate an occasion where angels promised " Peace on Earth " and " Good will to all men " and I thin we have found it right now. Suddenly the shopping, and baking, and parties, and all the other things associated with Christmas don't seem so vital as holding one life in our thoughts and prayers. That, my friends, IS peace on earth, good will to men! A peaceful night to you all, and thanks for being here. Judi
Guest guest
Dear Judi...So beautifully said. I think that because of our illnesses, we are more aware of the blessings of our gift of friendship and love. Iris --- Carol <carol@...> wrote: > Well said, Judi.
