Guest guest
Perhaps the high incidence of MS in the Pacific Northwest is related to lack of sunshine in the winter. Sunshine allows the body to make Vitamin D. A study done with MSers found great improvement with megadoses. It would also explain the low incidence of MS in folks who grow up in the tropics. Guest guest
I have been living in South Africa for the last three years and multiple sclerosis was virtually unknown there. When I had a relapse and visited the neurologist, he had only ever met one other case of MS. In comparison, my family are originally from Shetland, N.Scotland, UK, which has the highest incidence of MS in the world. There is a link between the sunlight and the geography of MS. Guest guest
I actually think that MS incidence is related to pets. I can't prove it of course but I think that some critter is getting passed around by pets. There is a similiar neuro disorder in rats in fact and there is parasite that causes it. -Cere > > --------------------------------- > Perhaps the high incidence of MS in the Pacific > Northwest is related to > lack of sunshine in the winter. I remember when I was diagnosed in the late 70's there was a lot of speculation in the news about MS being caused by small pets. Guest guest
OK I am about to confuse you as much as I can, I'm sure confused, Lets cut to the gist of the issue then and lets say I have lymes D. Would I still see the same results using L.D.N. since it is now L.D. instead of M.S.? I think we first have to agree that M.S. is an autoimmune disease and I will not agree to that,in light of all the new discoverys. Also if in fact M.S. is just a viral type of disease then L.D.N. should also work on all the rest of the viral diseases like the flue, colds etc. I kind of think that using L.D.N. to combat M.S. means that we believe M.S. is an autoimmune disease so therefore what I just stated before is BOGUS I have seen some pretty remarkable results from LDN so WHY? Also I have been let down because it hasn't completed the job it started on me,and I think many of us feel the same way,I suppose I should direct my anger at the organizations that kept it from me for so long, but I feel like facing Goliath then, and he at least had God's help. Guest guest
From the diseases that LDN appears to provide relief from, it would appear that LDN-triggered endorphis modulate the immune system back to normalcy. So whether it is too weak (cancer), under virus attack (HIV) or autoimmunity (MS, maybe) it appers to provide benefit. Dr Bihari has just released new information on LDN and cancer, from his clinical experience, with comments on possible method of action http://www.low dose naltrexone.org/ldn_and_cancer.htm S --- In low dose naltrexone , " Reg Kreil " <regkreil@h...> wrote: OK I am about to confuse you as much as I can, I'm sure confused, Lets cut to the gist of the issue then and lets say I have lymes D.
