I wasn't suggesting anyone go on a detox diet.

You need to treat the body very gently and the quick detox diets that make it in the media are much too aggressive for someone with MS .

This is the wrong time of year to do it anyway. Spring is the best time and just making subtle changes to the diet can make a big difference. Just increasing hydration could be enough to make a difference to someone depending on what their diet was like beforehand. Eating fresh fruit and vegetables, sprouts, soaked shortgrain brown rice, soaked seeds would be a start. Remember a gentle diet. Too many juices in the middle of winter would be aggressive. People tend to eat more in the winter when really they should just follow their appetite. Listen to yourself.

thank you Audrey. I'll wait until summer is over and do a once a

week fasting with lots of liquid.

Johannes,

Its O.K you can twist what I say as much as you like. I only have experience treating cancer patients anyway using a less agressive form of the Max Gerson diet so I wouldn't know.
