Guest guest
I have a friend with Scleroderma who up until a few years ago could not leave the house, had to be fed and carried from place to place. Her son as a last resort found a web site which contained info on Minocycline for scleroderma. She went on it and now she is driving, goes to the widows club, and travels! I believe the site was Theroadback.org . I would think LDN would help for this too but she was doing so well on the Mino. she did not pursue ldn. Guest guest
Do you think LDN would work for a person with Scleroderma? I read a bit aboout this illness and it does seem to be in the autoimmune category. thank you

Guest guest
I don't take anything but my prenatal vitamin. I am trying to eat healthier this time around. Our DAN dr gave me some information as to how much of everything I should be getting. The c-section part of it just didn't dawn on me until now! Thanks for the info :-) > > He can also have yeast issues from antibiotics given during the > > labor/deliver process and especially if it was a c-section birth. > > > > > > Thanks, > > and > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
For myself, I too had antibiotics during delivery, I took, and continue to take, GSE drops and two different kinds of probiotics. I only took one kind of probiotic, and no GSE in the beginning, and it wasn't enough. ended up with thrush and I ended up with a yeast infection in my breasts, very painful. The infections are held at bay by the use of two probiotics and GSE. With , nystatin did nothing for the yeast, had to put her on an infant safe probiotic. Once I added an additional probiotic and took the GSE, she no longer required the infant probiotic. Good luck to you. The options are horrible, nasty possibly crippling infections for the babies or nasty, gut compromising yeast issues. God Bless the individual that comes out with the perfect probiotic/anti-fungal treatment to stave off the subsequent yeast issues that follow antibiotics, and makes it an accepted and natural course of our delivery experience. It's really scary being out here on your own, guessing, going off anecdotal information, gleaned the hard way from someone who suffered and whose baby suffered needlessly. Re: questions for a friend This is really stupid, but I never paid any attention to this kind of stuff before!... They do pump antibiotics into the mother through an IV if she has a c-section, don't they? My first two kids were c-secs, and now I'm pregnant again. I don't suppose I'll be able to talk the doctor out of the antibiotics. Anyone know what I should take before the delivery? --- lvchefmel <lvchefmel@y...> wrote: He can also have yeast issues from antibiotics given during the labor/deliver process and especially if it was a c-section birth. Guest guest
Thank you for everyone's replies. I know Luke just received vaccines 2 weeks ago. He had some open heart surgery 2 months ago so I'm sure antibiotics were given in the hospital. I don't remember if he was csection or not. I'll keep sending replies to my friend if anyone else has any info. Thanks,
