Dear Pat

Thank you for your interest in the Myelin Repair Foundation (MRF), a

non-profit research foundation exclusively committed to discovering myelin

repair treatments for patients suffering from Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Our neuroscientists continue to hold their belief that a coordinated effort

focused on developing treatments could lead - within five years - to drug

targets that would allow remyelination (myelin repair) in MS patients,

greatly improving their quality of life until a cure can be found.

Since there are no effective treatments for MS today, time is of the

essence! In February, we received a major donation of $1 million from

Cook, co-founder of Intuit. This June, all five Principal Investigators,

and twenty-two other scientists from their labs, met in Chicago for the

Research Kick-Off meeting to discuss their current and future

accomplishments toward the MRF goal. We are very appreciative of Mr. Cook's

generous gift that has allowed us to begin our five-year journey toward a

myelin repair treatment for MS. Our goal is to raise another $4 million

this year and $20 million more over the next two years.

Here is how you can help:

colleagues who you think may be interested in Multiple Sclerosis and

* Help us identify potential sources of financial support. Current donors

include people interested in innovative ways to treat MS and/or accelerating
