Hello all, I'm new to the group. I am going to take the exam in a few months,

but I need to know what the best study materials for the exam are.

Thanks for your help

Dear Mercer CPC,

Interesting a Certified Professional Coder becoming a pharmacy technician!

Wonderful! I usually hear of this the other way around!

I am sure you will/can bring a lot to the table.

For my recommendations based upon my personal/professional review AND my members

citations on this site go to the home page and main menu of this site,

then click on Files,

then click on Folder 2 - Books and Study Guides,

then click on A Review of Study Guide Books

then click on 2009 Review Update

Files > 2- Books and Study Guides > A Review of Study Guide Books

> 2009 Review Update

I always recommend the use of this site's tutorials immediately AFTER studying

chapters on the SAME subject from TWO different books from TWO different

authors. You will get at least three different perspectives, tutorials and

furhter links. I also recommend that you post your questions HERE on this STUDY

GROUP site after you have studied from the two books and my tutorials (File

Folder #5)when you are confused or cannot understand the topic, the question,

the answer.

Everyone studying now has and those who have studied and passed the exam have

their favorite books. Some or many are on my review list.

I am interested as well as to which ones you are all using and like.

Please let us know what you like and what you do not like about your study

books.

If you are nto using at least two study books you should be. If you need to keep

the cost down try checking out a book from your local library.

Try reading a subject or chapter on the difficult information from a book at the

Barns and Nobels.

And don't forget to do your own internet search, my files/tutorials/links and

to post your questions.

Respectfully,
