Hi everyone.

I've suffered panic attacks or anxiety attacks most of my adult

life. the racing heart beat, light headedness and at times, nervous

shaking. Before MS, I was treated with Librium for a short time. I

taught myself breathing and relaxation techniques and coped fairly

well.

these attacks would and could come on whilst eating, driving,

watching TV, at anytime really and unprovoked.

this was the main reason I was put on Aropax in the last 2 years, and

it helped immensely.

No problems since starting LDN, and i am still on Aropax, but only

half the dose. the last few days, I have had the all-too-familiar

panic attack again.

Making me wonder, also, if the endorphins boost plays a part in that

or seretonin?

anyone know about how LDN may effect someone with any type of mental

illness - like depression or anxiety?

thanks, (I will go back to my full dose of Aropax just incase)

I was searching the board for info on panic attacks. I used to get them all the

time before I went gluten-free a couple of years ago, but they've been really

rare since then.

I take the LDN in the morning (6:30 AM). I've been on 1.5mg for six days and

have a whole lot more energy. Unfortunately, for the past two days, like

clockwork, I have had a panic attack that starts at 12:30 PM. This is about the

time the blockade of the receptors wears off. Needless to say, the panic

attacks are really disturbing. I'm hoping they will go away.

Has anyone else had any panic experiences on LDN?

Thanks in advance!

The first three or four days of LDN I felt some increasing

anxiety which I thought might be due to lack of sleep.

I switched to day time dosing on my 4th dose and the feeling

of anxiety went away within 24 hours. I also was

sleeping better. I did use Melatonin the whole time and it

made me sleep but I could tell I was sleeping very light

until I had been on day time dosing for 24 hours.

Hi purplesprout!

Why do you take the LDN in the morning? If you took it at night you`d probably

just sleep through and be unaware of any panic attacks.
