LDN: Possibility of Pharma co. research

I am a 13+ year pharmaceutical industry guy who has also fought MS

for the past 10+ years. I just learned about LDN a week ago and

start my first dose (4.5) tomorrow night after I get the shipment.

To say that I have sought ways to beat MS would be a huge

understatement. I've tried everything from vitamines to intravenous

Vistide (to eliminate HHV6) to procarin, to u name it as well as the

ABC's. The main reason for posting is to respond to the statement

that no pharma co. would be interested in doing the

research " because the drug is so cheap, no drug co. is interested in

producing it, there is simply no potential for significant profit. "

Unfortunately, it costs about 800 million dollars to bring a brand

new drug to market and between 200 to 500 million to reformulate an

existing product for a new indication (LDN). If we could create LDN

for MS in a form that has an advantage over its present form,

meaning it is not only efficacious (or even better), but also safer,

has fewer side effects, easier to dose etc. then maybe the FDA would

approve it. This is the kind of thing we brainstorm on a daily

basis, and unlike what most think, we do it for the sake of

improving peoples lives as the primary reason, that is our passion,

or at least mine and my companys'. And for what its worth the vast

majority of the people I know in my industry are some of the

kindest, most generous and courageous people in the world. They are

not only enormously talented, they work very hard and fight for what

they believe in. Most of what you read about our industry is

negative because of a political agenda enabled by a biased media.

Forget the truth, which if you knew only part of would amaze you and

renew your faith in us, this is harming our lives and our health in

ways you don't even know you don't know. We'll do our very best,

and by the way, my CEO's wife was just diagnosed with MS as well.
