Guest guest
Just wanted to take the time to thank everyone for their wonderful (and shockingly consistent) answers to my questions. I never even called Dr. regarding the time to take the LDN and bedtime, I knew you guys knew what you were talking about. I was really relieved to find that we could actually schedule it at a time where we could actually say " Go take your medicine " rather than go to bed and leave it up to the night owl to remember. (We're blaming his " brain fog " on hormones for now, I'm afraid...Hmmmm...Wonder if LDN will clear that up???? LOL...) Anyway, he is doing well, and seems to be tolerating the LDN at 3 mg fantastically. No insomnia or stiffness yet. Did this occur immediately for those of you who had problems with it? We are to call Dr. with a progress report in 3 weeks and I believe he said he would make a determination at that time as to whether to increase the dosage or not. I feel like he will increase it if he continues to tolerate the 3 mg this well. We didn't warn him about the possible insomnia or stiffness at all, I was afraid the power of suggestion might play a part, but he's snoring as soon as his head hits the pillow and played golf all day the last two days, so I'm thinking he might just be in better shape than I am. He swears he feels no differently, but you have to keep in mind that he has no symptoms other than heat sensitivity normally. However, after playing 18 holes of golf in the Kentucky heat and humidity yesterday and today, I don't think that is a huge problem for him right this minute! Sorry this is so long, I just wanted to fill you in and thank you for all your help. I have met the nicest people on this board, and I am so thankful. I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend if you are in the states or Canada. I'll be posting! I'm sure I'll come up with more questions...Take care!
