Guest guest
Hi Angel, The root of Curled Dock, Yellow Dock, Big Leaved Dock and the other docks are all very good for the liver and blood. They are alterative, tonic, astringent, anti-scorbutic and depurative (cleans the blood). The root is also somewhat cathartic (produces BM's). Whether rabbits will eat the leaves or not depends on whether the rabbits will eat the leaves I guess. That one I am not sure of. If you can get some roots Angel go for it. You won't regret it. Something here you can possibly barter with girl. :-) Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
Sure, we'll all help you identify it AnjewelCHaze@... wrote: In a message dated 5/22/2004 3:54:41 PM Eastern Daylight Time, suziesgoats@... writes: Yeah Angel...I'd be interested... How about if I take some pics of the things in my yard and see if there's anything yall need. I don't know what half of it is...may not be worth anything to anyone. But, if there is...surely I can send it to yall. Unless you live somewhere that it'll cost an arm and a leg now...lol. The only thing that I've put out there is dolomite (and it was four years old)...would that be a no no for using it? Now, it's been four years since anything was done to this yard, outside of mowing the dirt. I'm serious, we have a few spots of grass and my dad doesn't bother with lifting the blade when he mows. ROTF. Matter of fact, that's why I haven't pulled what he calls "the weeds", that's the only thing we can get to grow in some spots. Yall have a good night, Angel
