Guest guest
What are the risks of NOT chelating? What if the high lead or mercury or whatever it is you are battling stays put? I ask this because my pediatrician called last night and said, " Well, although this hair test indicates a very high level of lead consistent with toxicity, my gut feeling is that his blood will come back low. " She then went on to say that she would've only ordered a blood test anyway b/c that is standard in her practice, and that if I didn't do this myself, we would've never known. " I agreed, and she said, " So, we are chasing potential toxicity here that we wouldn't have known abotu in the first place. " I don't know.........what are the long term risks of letting this stuff just stay put in my kid's body? What are the risks of chelating vrs. putting your kid on a drug like Ritalin, something that people do everyday without all this talk? Guest guest
Do you think that it might be a positive thing then that after years of no "bugs",catching something after going on LDN, can be seen as a good thing? Ali
Guest guest
Before I starrted LDN I did not get colds or any other infections, nothing affected me! (Except MS) Since being om LDN, over a year now (4.5 MG) I occasionaly have a mild cold (twice a year is said to be part of the bodies cleaning out procedure). B. Guest guest
I wonder too Ali. I tend to believe my immune system is behaving in a more normal manner when I do get a mild cold. Normal people catch colds now and then. I'd like to be normal... (No smart remarks Mr G...) Guest guest
There are no silly questions. For myself, I haven't had a cold since starting LDN. I use to get one or two per winter and this past winter on LDN, no colds. Guest guest
Yes, it is positive. The body uses some minor infections, etc as a cleaning out process. Without the LDN my immune system runs in max destruct mode, killing everything questionable including parts of me! B. Original Message: ----------------- From: Alidewar37@... Guest guest
Hi Marie, Interesting, I was very apprehensive about the heat in Florida. So far it is not problem at all. Still on 4.5 mg and all is well. Glad that you are also doing well. I miss the Cape a little but only a little. Our house and neighborhood are great. We'll go North once or twice a year.
