, Audrey and others,

Maybe all the causes we can think up are really just 'TRIGGERS' in an

already susceptible system.

We need to know, one day, what that susceptibility is and if its a

common factor.

I took part in a DNA collection survey which I believe it's findings

are still ongoing. DNA was taken from myself and both my parents,

and the option to also test siblings was available. Its a world wide

survey/study which I think brought about the first 'Longitudinal'

results afew years ago.

As for canine distemper and ticks and pesticides, I was certainly

exposed to it living on a farm. My dogs replaced the usual 'barbie

dolls' and when my mother wasn't looking, I'd let them into my bed

and put pyjamas on them with their own little pillows too. My sister

was right there, accessory to the event, but obviously not

susceptible to MS in the long run.

Audrey, I wrote a few posts ago about what I ate during the 3-4

months on this stupid diet.

One black coffee no sugar in the morning and a piece of dry wholemeal

toast and that was it. No water, no other intake for nearly 4 months.

Before and after this 'diet' I have always eaten well, drank heaps of

water, and even green tea, vitamin supplements etc and continue to do

so until this day. Regardless of this movement, I remain flu free

and glow with health. All functions are regular and all tests normal.

I will, however, do a de-tox diet but I just dont want to risk being

sick as it takes it toll on MS and symptom flare ups. I would need

to take several months off work to be on the safe side as it will be

a huge change to my body and a shock. I just feel so good and

healthy, and with LDN as a boost, im afraid to 'rock the boat'.

Ok, im outa here folks

To Friday,

Reading your latest posts about eating habits, dieting etc I think it

would be a good idea to follow a healthy eating plan. However, a de-

tox diet in its rigid form could be a shock to your body after bad

eating habits and years of 'flummery'!!!

There are products on the market to assist in de-toxing and you could

maybe start on one of these while just eating healthy food and

juicing, just to ease the body into a new routine.

From one who has done years of dieting, healthy eating and pigouts in

turn plus health farm stays. I,ve done the strict anti-candida one

which cuts out all sugars, wheat and similar, fruit, dairy and

saturated fats. Water for breakfast anyone??? Stayed on it 3 months.

Felt great.

Its a hard ask to live this way and have a social life, believe me.!

However, theres probably a happy medium and there has to be a start.

Maybe we should just encourage each other.
