question about genetics and ms

I'm the only one in my family with this blasted condition. Texas Tech Health Sciences Center is due to begin a study into the genetic factor as well as environmental factors. Of course we all know how long these things can take. It will be interesting.

they say that MS isn't hereditary but that you can have more than

one member in a family with MS. Identical twins will both get MS

but twins that are not identical will not.

I think what happens is either there is a weakness in the family

gene pool and/or it's environmental.
