Guest guest
oooooooooooooeeeeeeeeeee...sure don't want to hear that! One summer in about 1937 stayed with aunt who had a lovely log cabin in the woods by a creek. the logs had never been de-barked and, what we called bed bugs were really an outside creature who loved the woods, lived under the bark, but liked it better in the house in our beds. My pore aunt used kerosene, burned the springs of the beds, placed the legs of the beds in cans of kerosene and fought them daily all the time i was there. She was a very clean person and i think those cotton picken things were trying to drive her to an early grave. She lived to be 84 but had she not sold the place.. don't think she would have made it to 44!! our "good night, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite" was the standard nity-nite call in the 30's. granny lee ----- Original Message ----- From: Janelle Witter health Sent: Saturday, July 31, 2004 4:21 PM Subject: Re: cajeput oil, tea tree oil now catnip Bedbugs are making a comeback, by way of evenquality hotels.
