However, a couple of suggestions.... I would also recommend sending correspondence to members of the Senate and the House Armed Services Committee, and also members of the House and Senate Appropriations Committee(they decide who gets how much money and where it goes). Also, I would contact your Congressional representatives and ask them about, and I'll put this in capital letters for emphasis, THE EFFECT OF THE ANTHRAX VACCINE UPON READINESS. That's right...readiness... this means the ability of the military to perform its mission to the United States. This refers to the effect of the vaccine upon people leaving the military-namely, people leaving the military to AVOID the vaccine. Therefore, because of the vaccine, and people leaving the military because of the vaccine, readiness(national security) is hurt because of the decreased numbers of servicemembers in the military. Also, consider the MORALE aspect of the servicemembers when they " are forced " to take a vaccine that has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration(FDA). Here's the AOL link to the members in the House Armed Services Committee. List recipients, even if they don't have AOL, should be able to click on the lettering in blue(below) and get the members, their addresses, and their phone numbers. House Armed Services Committee-- Membership
Guest guest
Dani, I would try using less wt when doing your lunges/squats. Maybe this will ease your leg pain. Lunges are still very effective, even with lt wt. It's my understanding that you don't have to do the BFL program at all to win the challenge. You just have to have used EAS products at some point in the challenge and show awesome 12wk results. It sounds like you are seeing results. Don't be too hard on yourself. Take your 2 wks off of exercise and jump right back on the wagon, girl. This is a good/healthy way of life. Tweak away on your next challenge, just don't give up. Take care, Becky > 2 more weeks!!! The massage thing sounds like a dream. > What if someone uses, lets say program. They ate & > exersiced exactly the way RS told them to. Guest guest
I do eat way, way too much on free day!!! But I do keep it to 1 day. Yesterday (Saturday) was free day. i feel bad today. I had: 2 biscuts with sausage gravy, 2 donuts, 2 sausage patties, 1 glass of chocolate milk, 1 grilled cheese, 3.5 sausage links, a pitcher of tea, 2 candy bars, 1/2 slab ribs, 1 large order of fries, 1/2 order of BBQ wings, 1/2 order of cheesy bread, 1 apple turn over, 1 glass of water. I change my workouts every 6 weeks. I think you should have to do BFL if you are entering the BFL challange. But who am I to say how they should run their business? I'm not using in any weight for squats & 12lbs is the heavest I use for lunges.
Guest guest
LOL, your mum sounds like my mum, no matter how often we talk about my lifestyle, she doesn't get it. She's not going to do it though, no way, so that's different. hehe. > cardio - my legs hit about an 12 while my heart & lungs are only > about an 8. my legs just give out. That happens to me on the bike. That's why I like crosstrainers and treadmills instead. And rowing is a joke, my arms give out before I've finished my warmup! lol. If you stick with it, you'll find your legs will continue to get stronger and slowly catch up with your cardiovascular fitness. At least you know you have a good heart! > > cardio - DH & I both hate 4mph. It's kind of between fast walking & > running. Anyone else notice this? Heehee, I use Kilometers, but there is a speed there... about 8kph, I suspect it's the same. I just avoid it. I do this at the moment warmup 7kph (fast walk) peaks... 8.5, 9.5, 10.5, 11.5 (final minute is 12.5kph, it kills me) so I just skip over it. Can't help you with the protein thing. I'm a bit clueless in that area myself. I have a lot of protein shakes, with real food carbs, coz I find it easier that way. > stomach - Why wont it go away!!! my chest & hips are size 1x & my > waist is a size 4x!!! If I get my chest & hips small enough to fit > into a size 7 is my waist going to me a size 14? I am sooo tired of > this!! I look like I'm about to give birth!!! Hmmmm... I can't say for sure, but I doubt the ratio will stay like that. I know that it is gonna feel that way for a while though, the bit we hate most is always the last to go (because it's the biggest, which is logical in a really stink way!). The thing to remember is that fat comes off ALL over, so if you're shrinking, so is your stomach and it will have no choice but to go eventually! Guest guest
Phoenix, Where are you at? I'm in East Central Illinois. I looked up the differance between kilometers & miles. 4mph = 6.44kph. 8kph = 4.97mph. Our treadmill goes up to 10mph or 16.5kph. Here is where I converted it. http://www.teaching-english-in-japan.net/conversion/miles Dani W
Guest guest
I'm in Auckland, New Zealand, which is why most of my posts (not this one though!) seem to be at crazy hours like 3am for you guys. I find I can walk fast at 7.5kph and jog (slowly) at 8.5kph, but 8kph is just annoying, so i skip over it. LOL I have no clue what our gym treadmills go up too, but I couldn't really imagine needing to go faster than 16.5kph! The 12.5 I mentioned just about kills me at the moment.
