Guest guest
Hi Don, I tried making some crackers, and we'll see how they turn out. I used rejuvelac instead of water to "reconstitute" them ( next time will just use fresh sprouts! ), and notso sure that was a good idea in terms of flavor. Added a little salt, a clove of garlic, a little parsely and some ground chiptle pepper. They seem to be drying alright texture wise, but lacking in flavor. Do you have some special home recipe that will turn out right and taste good, for future reference, for essene crackers and flatbread? Am going to do a web search on this also, and will let you know if I come up with anything good ( after I try it and findout how it works ). If you have any special recipe you know works, I'd love to give it a try. Should be a really tasty treat. Add some flax seeds or whatever you desire. Now that I have a dehydrator I can do this too.
