Guest guest
Sorry for the delay in posting ….new computer ...offline for a couple of days But having had MS for a long long time..i totally agree ,that people with MS have a lot more in common than in difference. There seem to be a couple of different types the cacium EAP doctor(forgotten his name) thought they were indicated.. by whether optical neuritis is a major symptom .. Medical textbooks noted 4 different types but id go for two + LIFESTYLE ( food ,stress, exersize) . Basically the galloping sort where you get it and you only progress and you die of it with in 5 years( the sort J.du Pre had)or all the other sorts which are different because of lifestyle and how many of the relevant genes you have in what sort of condition?. But genetic determinism plays a big factor in the lifestyle…so which comes first the chicken or the egg?…… I studied genetics and believe it or not ….genes change , mutations are going on all the time…24[7 some are useful ,some not. Theres is a lot the research people don’t know, which is actually great for people with ms. So please don’t hide behind your genes ..there are things all of us can change….attitude is one thing . Ive accepted the fact that MS people have an alot in common. The exploration of it is fascinating… and very very productive.. …… Just my 2 cents worth Louise (oz)
