I cravedchocolate and sugar like crazy for the first few months. Thank goodnessthat craving's subsided; unfortunately, it hasn't been accompanied byweight loss.________________________________________________________________The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!Surf the Web up to FIVE TIMES FASTER!Only $14.95/ month - visit www.juno.com to sign up today! ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
Guest guest
I guess Now I will truly find out if LDN will add to my weight. Since starting LDN in 2002, I lost approx. 23 lbs. I KNOW the weight gain had alot to do with all the other "MS MEDS" I had been taking for 3 yrs. Once I stopped them, the extra lbs. just fell off. I had also started taking Topamax, about 6 months after starting LDN, for seizures, which, my Nuero said would make me lose weight. I've gone from a size 7, when first dx. to a 13, (YIKES.... I'm only 4'11") when on all those Meds. and am now down to a size 5.6, and so NOT complaining!!! I recently stopped the Topamax, and LDN is the Only med I'm taking now, other than Zocor. I've been reading all the posts about weight gain, and I'm Really hoping that it doesn't become a problem once again. I'll letcha know!! I never was a big "sweet" eater, so I figure as long as I keep eating right and working out, I should be ok. Wish me luck!! Does anyone know why LDN would add to your weight? If so, let me know!! Have a great day all God Bless Carol

Guest guest
It says somewhere that the reason there is a "Black Box" warning on Naltrexone - Revia is because they found out in a 'weight loss' study in greatly Obese people that when three hundred mgs. a day was taken it would harm the liver! However it never worked as a weight loss drug.....at that amount anyway. I am putting on the weight yet so I don't believe it will cause you to fade away.
