Guest guest
Hi Friday, I just got a Motomed machine as well. No manual was included, so it is a 'trial and error' situation. It is no small thing to move around (watch out for your toes!) I have had it just for 3 days now and do about half an hour every day, sitting in my lounge chair, but am thinking of trying out other chairs. Sure I / it moves my legs in a pumping action and I do feel it afterwards, so I must be doing something right. If you could offer any advice as to the proper use of the Motomed or an address to an online manual, I would be deeply appreciative. As an aside: I enjoyed saunas, hot tubs, spending all day out in the sun, pre MS, but now, heat is a deffinite NO-NO, cold showers are my best friend when the mercury rises, without a doubt Happy MotomeNding, XGRAF

Guest guest
Friday, I am now in possession of user manuals, in English, for both the Motomed viva1 and viva2. Not a stunning advance on, what I'm sure, you can see and guess as to how it functions. You seem to be so damn helpful on this board, I would just like to enquire if you think either of these manuals would be of help to you? Not much difference between them really, it seems to me that the major difference is in the display/control module. I have the viva2 in PDF format, the other in print, so would need to scan and send in JPG format. If either can be of assistance, please do not hesitate. I am doing around ½hr (2x 15min) a day and I feel that I may be getting benefit from it, then again something is better that nothing. I simply start off on a slow speed, and use it for 15 minutes to half an hour while i watch Bold and the Beautiful - no critising please guys, grrr.I have only had it in my home one night, and used it twice so far. Will know more of its potential the longer I use it, as with anything. It's a heavy bugger I agree. So, i have a permanent spot for it in my lounge (non-obstructive area) and my dog barks at it.happy motormedding to you too, i hope it wasn't too expensive for you to buy. And if you didnt buy it, just say you did to the MOTOMED people, hehehe, and that the dog ripped up the manual - Friday> Hi Friday,> > I just got a Motomed machine as well.>
Guest guest
Friday, 45th day on LDN , Motomed 1 wk. I must have a deluxe version (viva1) with leg and foot straps, I used them when I first started, but did not really need them, so saving time, I took them off. Shame you are not just around the corner. The manual search was more a thing of finding out EVERYTHING about it, so that I could achieve the maximum benefit from using it. Really it is a 'no-brainer'. Dry hands is something I have always had, but in the last 3 years it had become a problem. I now race a 2.4mR (one man yacht LOA~4m) and my hands would get terrible cuts in them because they were so dried out. My wife, following a tattoo she had done, got some hand cream called 'Helosan' from the tattooist. 'hand cream' is what I call it, but my wife told me that it is actually seems to be the #1 cream suggested by Scandinavian tattoo parlours here and I further found that it is used in dairy sheds on cow's udders. It works like magic on my hands. Off Label is the call here. Never heard of 'sorbelene', but "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" Happy Motomending, XGRAF PS where are you? southern hemisphere?
