Guest guest
`Hey Steve, and all others, Would it be to simplistic to say that LDN and the interferon's are doing the opposite things in your system. Interferon's are suppressing our immune systems while LDN is enhancing our immune systems. So those of you still taking interferon's while on LDN are experiencing a " washout " effect. Just a thought. I hope the weekend weather has been better in other parts of the country, it's been a total " washout " here in the sunshine state. . . Lol -----Original Message----- From: Steve [mailto:brshall@...] Sent: Sunday, August 08, 2004 9:00 AM low dose naltrexone Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: Are LDN and interferon compatible? I know Dr. Bihari preaches that they are incompatible but what is this based on other than theory. I haven't seen any anecdotal evidence that shows that they are or are not compatible. The theory says that interferons suppress the immune system and only Copaxone is compatible because it does not suppress the immune system. However, according to NMSS, both Copaxone and the interferons are considered immuno-modulators. Novantrone is the only medication listed as an immuno-suppressant. I am not making a final judgment but rather stating that there might not be enough evidence (scientific or anecdotal) to draw a conclusion. If Dr. Bihari or others have more proof other than jumping to a conclusion, I am open to hear what they have to say. > , > For example, are LDN and interferon compatible? > > No. > > Regards, > Tom > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: " javieririarte67 " <javieririarte@t...> > <low dose naltrexone > > Sent: Friday, August 06, 2004 2:28 PM > Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Are LDN and interferon compatible? > > > > Hi!
