Hi Syl,

Over here they gather the rose hips after the flowers have fallen off

and the hips have turned a bright red and are still firm. Sometimes you

can wait a little too long and they will get mushy. But yes, you can dry

them and grind them up. Very high in bioflavonoids and C.

That is correct. The Dog rose is the wild rose. It grows everywhere here

so I don't lack in rose hips.
