Hello there. Below is a message that was posted to more than one list that

all copies of showed up on the same list. I'm taking the liberty of

forwarding it, since I don't have it in my folder, and it was

intended to be sent here, anyway. This is the same problem I " m having.

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SENDING POSTS TO UPSNDOWNS WITH OTHER LISTS CC'D

OR ALSO ADDRESSED TO..............

ONLY ADDRESS YOUR POSTINGS TO UPSNDOWNS NOT UPSNDOWNS AND DOWNSYN AND

THIS AND THAT.

This is what happens I hit reply to all and the reply is sent to all

theses listservs that i or anyone might not belong to and you end up

with 5 or 6 bounced messages.

Its not that hard to just make sure your posting is to only.

Thank You,

DJ,

This is Bonnie the original poster of the message. I did, infact, post to

all the lists I sent too. I got six copies, one from Beautiful Babies, one

from Downs Heart, one from Upsndowns, one form Down-syn and the last from

multiples. I also got responses from people on all the lists immediately

which means all the list have seen the post.

I also have not had a problem like you are describing. Could it be something

with the way your subscription is configured?

Is there really a need to yell! Or did you forget that this is what " all

CAPS " imply. A simple note to me directly would have been sufficient. I

really do not appreciate the tone of your email.

Consider how others may be feeling especially since the subject of my mail

had to do with a very serious medical issue with my son. Next time think

before you post and I will be sure not to post to all my list together!

Bonnie..I don't think he meant to direct this to you, personally, though I do

agree he should have changed the subject line. We have been asking folks all

along to be careful when cc'ing posts. I think he was stressing that request

and not particularly yelling at anyone.

I sent him to his room after I read that last night ;)

Thanks for all Your Prayers

Thanks to everyone who sent good wishes and prayers for Nick's sleep study.

It went very well. He had just a few de-sats to the mid 80's when he was

dreaming. Otherwise his sats averaged 98-99 which is a vast improvement from

the surgery. After his surgery he averaged in the low 90's with a few

de-sats to the low 80's that he came out of when we touched him. Last night

when he was dreaming and he had a few de-sat episodes he got out of them in

a few seconds with no intervention. The tech was the same as last January

and she noticed a vast improvement. She noted not lapse in breath, no

gasping and much less thrashing around. He still was a bit restless changing

positions several times in the 5 hours but he had 10 leads to his face and

head, a belly belt a chest belt and pulse-ox on his toe. He looked like a

freak experiment. I halfway expected " IGOR " to work through the door, lol.

Dh was great when we got home. I stayed up all night so when we arrived home

at 6:00 Nick wanted to eat and play and I wanted my bed. Nick played until

am then went to sleep. I was sleeping by 6:01am and slept soundly until

11am. Nick is still sleeping. We are going out tonight so it is good that

he gets his rest.

Thanks again to all of you for your notes and prayers. I will be sure and

post the medical results when I see he doctor in two weeks.

Yelling IMHO is all caps for an entire sentence. I use caps for emphasis

because I can think of no other way to do it. I asked the list and they

agreed that they used caps for emphasis as well. Was Timbo yelling?? Bad

boy, fifty lashes with a wet noodle.

Dear Guys,

Just a brief update on my friend and her brother. Thanks for all your

prayers as they must have helped. He's doing better and they hope to be able

to transport him on Monday to MCV which is the transplant Hospital. The

family is looking into a live donor situation and my friend happens to be the

1 family member out of 8 that could be a possible match. He doesn't know

this yet because there are alot of tests she has to have before it will be

confirmed. Cross your fingers and hope that all goes well for them both. I

told her that she was one of the most unselfish people I know of. This is a

gift that no one could ever give him. A gift of life.

On a lighter side. Harper, you are a riot. I look forward to all your posts

and can only imagine what an interesting life you lead. You have experienced

so much and have already lived such a full life. I only hope that the next

50 are as interesting and you continue with your stories.

Hope all are feeling well and to those who are not, hang in there tomorrow is

a new day.

Got to go now. Will work at home all day trying to keep head above water at

work.

Again thanks for your prayers.

It was a close one!! We live north of Fort Myers where hurricane

Charley came ashore. Lots of rain and wind, but it wasn't close

enough to level buildings. Tom I know you're in S. FL I'm hoping

you were able to get through the storm as well. A tooth brush and

my LDN and we were going to evacuate if we needed to! Hope everyone

had a sunny drier Friday! I promise my next post will be on topic.
