Guest guest
Hey Sherrie, I am sorry I have not gotten back with you sooner. I have been so busy at home with my children. Ok as for what I think is helping my ROM. I ask my PT today and she agreed on my statements below as to helping my ROM. 1. I think I have a very good PT that works on my knee first thing when I get there....bending and pushing down on my knee. It hurts soom but worth it. 2. I also the recumbent bike has been great on my ROM of motion. 3. I have stairs at home and I am now going up and down thme normally rotating feet, one foot per step. I husband put my recumbent bike together tonight. So I will be on it the most. I have even had days where I have not did all of my exercises and still would have increased in my ROM. I am also going to PT 3 days a week. Since with my insurance I am unlimited number of visits I am taking advances of PT as long as i can. I was my PT today and I am at my goal of 120 what my OS was hoping I would be when I see him this Wednesday. This Friday will be 6 weeks post op. Sherrie I read a post where you said your PT was only doing like 3 exercises. You should be doing a whole more by know. Maybe you could check your insurance and see if there is another PT you can go too. Also my PT and even the ones in the hospital where I was at said the machine that bends your knee is really not usually after you leave the hospital that the PT exercises are better the being on the CPM. Hope this help. Kim
