Hello Friday,

I am PP at the mo and have had MS for 23 years.

I'm 35. I live in the US temporarily.

I have not tried the LDN as I am using Isopathy at the

moment. I am qualified in Natural Nutrition which has

a particular healing philosophy. I do practice what I

preach.

I believe in using the things God gave us for healing

as they have been used since the beginning of time and

are well documented.

I have a mouthful of metal still which I would like to

do something about but the last time I had a filling

removed I went blind in one eye within a day.

I was told it was the stress of visiting the dentist.

Ha Ha.

I am still interested in LDN as an option despite my

views of orthodox medicine and If I were to take

anything I would go for that as it appears to be the

least toxic.

I'll do my best to support LDN and make it known to

other MS users as an option to them as I help people

with MS and I will bring it up in conversation in the

surgery of every neuro I meet from now on. I have to

say I'm more afraid of their drugs than I am of this

disease.

Hi Audrey.

Are you still in the U.S. or have you returned to the

UK?

If you are in the UK now, did you manage to get onto

an LDN

prescription? When do you anticipate starting lDN?

Please keep us

posted on how you feel after taking it. All the best.

What type/stage of MS have you at the moment? Are

there any other

types of alternative medications/treatments/diets/CRAB

injections

that you have tried and found to be beneficial in

reducing or

improving symptoms?

I have PPMS and am taking 6mg LDN now, like the few

already in this

forum and it is helping me somewhat, and alot has to

do with my frame

of mind to determine the best results.

Hope you get to start LDN soon.

Take care

Friday

Audrey,

Perhaps you can find a dentist who is better at protecting you from the mercury vapors and debris while extracting your fillings? I used large amounts of vitamin C during the process, drank tons of water, and had no problems at all. I also insisted we do a small amount of work each time, and spread the visits out over about 18 months.

I'm sure you know there is a lot of info on the web on this subject; I apologize for telling you something you most likely know already.

Audrey,

My alternative doc explained it like this; the different metals on top of metals put in our mouths by traditional dentists create a 'battery' effect. You know, the positive and negative thing that is what a battery is. Do you still have any metal left in your mouth? That could explain the electrical feelings that you are having. Just a thought.

Hi Audrey,

What do you think caused the blindness in your eye and is it OK now? I went to the dentist a month ago and still have half a tongue that is numb. I assumed he hit a nerve or something. He is saying that I am allergic to the anesthetic, so he switched anesthetics and it made my tongue more numb! I think it is a damaged nerve because I felt an electrical shock the first time he hit it. Anybody else having this trouble?

He did remove an old (and tarnished) filling under a crown. Could it be mercury poisoning? I don't know the symptoms.

Gail,

I had symptoms from the age of 12, double

vision, burning and numbness. 12 was a bit young to

get it but I used to think it funny seeing things

twice.

I had my first spinal tap and MRI at 20 and have had

relapses every year since.

I was diagnosed at 28 when I had my second MRI.

My cousin had MS and was quite a severe case. She

died at 42 .

I have heard of a child as young as four being

diagnosed with MS. I can't remember where I read this

though.

I know someone else who first had symptoms at 15.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if a lot of people

first get symptoms around puberty. I had a few

vaccinations then also.

,

I really hope your tongue gets better. How awful

for you. I would try and get some advice about this.

Sounds like he could have hit a nerve. Sue him!I know

that I lost my vision that time after seeing the

dentist because mercury breeches the blood brain

barrier causing damage to any part of the nervous

system.
