Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Day 10 on LDN

Hi all, I have been taking LDN for 10 days now and can I say WOW. I have backed off yet not stopped baclofen. (one of you informed me not to stop cold turkey so thank you for that) However, all of my muscle spasms were gone by day 5. As for bladder control I stopped taking Detrol LA and it seems to be correcting itself as we speak. My eyesight is still poor. Balance is still bad, but I seem to be heading in the right direction.

, thats great results for you so soon too. I'm always

encouraged by posts like yours.

However, I dont remember any previous posts from you so If I ask you

to repeat yourself, I do apologise, as I have some questions.

Is your LDN compounded (what dose?) or do you mix Revia 50mg tablet

with water?

How progressed is your MS or how has it effected your abilities and

do you use any walking/mobility aids? Or, are you fairly newly

diagnosed? RR or PP?

What mg's of Baclofen were you on before starting LDN and did it help

you before?

What other medications, CRAB or alternative have you tried thus far?

Have they helped?

I think these sorts of questions and answers to them help us all get

an overall picture of who benefits most or least, and to what degree

on LDN.

Again, Its the best medication we have so far in my opinion, and it's

so comforting to know it wont harm us in such low doses over long

term use.

All the best in the future.

Hi Stevan

Boy do we like to hear that and I am very interested in how much Baclofen you were taking as I can,t even tolerate 10mgs a day!

I was never on any before LDN and much to others dismay I was put on fourty mgs a day right out of the chute( so to speak)

I am not taking it any more and really don't need it or even needed it before,I guess.

LDN has stopped my nueropathic pain and given me better bladder control than my wife has(I guess having four children real close together does that to some women).

So congratulations on starting on the LDN train you won't want to get off.

By the way people I was actually "high stepping" this morning, almost marching and my wife was asking from the bedroom "Whats that sound, are you running?"

It has been years since she last heard that!

I guess the LDN is still stopping the progression and now my body is repairing, I just wish it would go faster.

Reg. S.P.M.S. & on LDN since Oct 2003.

I built some greeting cards that state this on the front and I hand them out at the M.S. clinic, Auction sales etc.

Congratulations, . As I'm sure you know, Dr. Bihari says that LDN

will prevent disease progression, but not necessarily do anything about

symptoms. So if you're experiencing some symptom relief that's terrific

news.
