Guest guest
I have to agree with her. Our immune systems have a job to do, and with all of our obsessions about cleanliness we don't allow it to exercise itself. But since I've always had animals I'm sure there's been plenty of dirt and germs in my life, LOL! ----- Original Message ----- From: Friday low dose naltrexone Sent: Sunday, August 01, 2004 1:41 AM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: pets and susceptability OT , you know, my mother always says, dont clean things so much, dont use so much disinfectants - how is your body suppose to be strong and fight outside evils if you dont allow it to build up a defence? Some germs are good. Why do homeless people live for so long? they have a strong resistance to street germs - blah blah blahShe still says the same thing today - smart cookie my mumFriday> Just maybe... having animals around gives your immune system something valid to attack. Kind of like distracting a baby with something safe when they want to play with something dangerous.> > JT
