Hi Edith,

No I've never used Schulze #1. What do you mean that Happy Colon is

extremely mild? Did it work for you? The bottle says take 3 caps. a day,

one before each meal. However I take 6 a day and I have anywhere from 2

to 5 bms a day. Before taking it I went once or twice a week.

_____________________________________________

I guess it is mild compared to like the Shulze #1. My grandson could never take that. I never take the H.C. or anything else

except when I am doing a cleanse. I buy other things from NATR

where I get the H.C. and I am extremely happy to have found something

a child can take. I think I will try it for several days and see how

I feel.

I'm glad it works so well for you. In the catalog I get from NATR, people

give glowing reports from it. Take care.

Edith

I am so sorry you have to take so many meds, but also wonder

what all that aspirin and ibuprofen is doing to your

stomach...it is so bad for the stomach lining...do be

careful, hopefully with a good nutrition/herbal program

you will be able to get off some of the medications.

You may want to consider drinking aloe vera juice

on an empty stomach between meals and at bedtime

as it is a contact healer.

As for Cascara Sagrada, it has a strong laxative effect,

and one reason it has that affect is that it increases

the flow of bile...and bile helps with moving of the

bowels...I am not sure it alone will break down a stone,

but it will keep bile moving through the gallbladder,

so perhaps it will help. Will be interesting to hear

how your tests come out later. Personally, I have tried

taking it, and my digestive system is so very sensative

that even if I take 1/2 or 1/4 a capsule full, I can plan

on spending most of the next day in the bathroom :-(

Have a bit of a case of IBS and it is to stimulating, so

I take a milder herbal combination. The cascara that

I purchase from my store is a bit less $$:

I hope that you feel better soon!

I was diagnosed with arthritis and started taking ibuprofen at 600mg 3x a

day. The last couple of years its gone to 800 mg 3x a day.

Hi Pam ~

I have found the zapper has taken away my carpal tunnel and understand many

find it very useful for arthritic conditions. I took ibuprofen for quite

awhile and it ate my stomach. I can no longer take any aspirin of any kind.

Hope you can find a viable solution to all those medications.

My gallstone is suppose to measure at 3cm. and I am not crazy about taking out

my gallbladder as the doctor suggested. I plan to finish off the bottle of a 100

capsules. I plan to have an ultrasound done to see how I faired in taking

Cascara Sagrada. I also plan to do the flushes (kidney, gallbladder and liver).

Have yoiu considered checking with a herbalist shop in England? Maybe they have

something similar there? Or order Cascara Sagrada? Let us know what the outcome

is. Have you considered flushes? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you so

much for any information that would be helpful.

How do you know how long to wait?

Don't get discouraged if your stone doesn't go away overnight. You may have to

commit to a long range plan of attack (Or it could pop out on the first flush

you do - that's the ideal!) My stone was measured at 2.3 cm and I have been

working on it for about 10 months or so. It's still there, though I hope in

smaller form now. I hope to get around to an ultrasound before too long to see

what sort of progress I've made.

Lynn, I think I’ve heard that you can’t take herbs every

day for long periods of time, for some reason.

Someone told

me you should just take them 2 weeks at a time, then

be off them for about 3 weeks. I

guess because your body would get too dependent on them? Not sure, anybody else ever heard of

that? Maybe your constipation

problem would be better fixed with plant-based enzymes and probiotics.

I have some of this herb or should I

say bark. I gather from this article that if I take a cup or two of tea

made from this (sweetened with honey of course) every night before bed, my body

won't become used to it? Is this something I could use on a nightly bases

along with senna leaf? I have some of both herbs and I thought I might

make a tea before bed each night and it might help me. I have a bit of a

problem with constipation since I had my son 18 years ago. I don't like

that full feeling and I've been taking laxatives now and then over the years to

help. I hate taking pills like that and don't want to if I don't have

to. I'm wondering if this would be a good idea for me. Thanks.
