Friday I received the results from the testing I had done through the MS-Diet.org web site... some real surprises, some "yep, I knew that". The biggest surprises were my strong reactions to both rice and chicken. Give me a break, I have never heard of anyone who was allergic to either and never worried about them at all! I watched the beef, felt guilty whenever I had a good steak, but felt virtuous eating chicken and rice. The strong reactions to dairy and eggs were no surprise, but finding out I was allergic to all the fish tested was a shock. I NEVER eat fish, so I didn't expect to have a problem with it. Anyway, I can have pork and limited beef, lamb, and venison, nearly all veges, and all fruit except grapefruit and pears. I don't like pork, lamb, or venison, so it looks like the saturated fat in my diet will drop like a stone as my intake of meat drops... No grains except for corn.

Starting Saturday I have completely eliminated the foods tagged as "eliminate". No cheating, and no problems Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. But Monday night I woke up with my left leg very weak, and today have had pins and needles, again in the left leg, all day. I don't feel really bad, but I don't feel really good either. Some of my aches and pains are easing, my lower back certainly feels better, but I slept very poorly last night and just don't feel "right".

I'm wondering if any of you have had the testing and eliminated the foods identified as problems? Is it normal to get to feeling worse for a while, like a withdrawal process? Is there life without chocolate???
