pain meds for total knee replacement

Hello all,

I recently had total right knee replacement and was on Percocet and

then Vicodin for 7 weeks. I decided I had enough of that and the

withdrawal (just 7 weeks) was excruciating emotionally. I wonder if

anyone has had similar effects and what are you taking now for pain

meds?
