Guest guest
I agree w/ Fran and about counseling. While each chronic illness is different in its medical component, they all have a great deal in common in terms of their effects on patients and families - fatigue, frustration, denial, misunderstanding, depression, etc., and counseling can sometimes give us the words we need to use with our families. One of my favorite plays/movies is Tony Kushner's " Angels in America, " because at its core its message is " don't stay still- move, grow " regardless of what hardships life sets in your path, particularly physical or mental disease. Take care, all, Addy Group co-owner who doesn't have asthma or allergies and hasn't had them these last 35 years despite the hospitalizations, medications, doctor's visits, shots, multiple diagnoses of sinus infections, bronchitis, pneumonia and the like.
