Guest guest
Wishing all my friends in this forum the same level optimism! Kudos to you! I am happy for you! I went to the dr the other night and was told " you have horrendous asthma . You only blew out 4 candles on the spirometry test " . I got annoyed at that statement. I said " but look how many I Was able to do, if I didn't blow any out I'd be dead. 4 is great, it is greater than 1! " Geez, to me it is equivalent to telling a patient they have 6 months to live. Nail the coffin shut now. My dr stopped for a moment and said " I like your outlook " . No wonder what they do they call practice. They gotta practice bedside manners as well. All in all though, this dr is a good dr. I find he's a lot better than others I have dealt with along the way I still get the bruises from the shots. Oh well. I also am still not loving the new MDI. I reach for it more often and I don't like that. My peak flows measure 325. Dr doesn't seem too concerned about that. I do though. It seems my chest feels both tight and heavy. It's only after I take the MDI, I feel better. Dr said it is hard to say what the cause is. Meanwhile, I suffer. I have been trying to get some exercise in. I go in the pool with my nephews. I have to make sure all meds are taken bc my mom has a garden that surrounds the pool. If I don't, I am in agony. Even with the meds, I still suffer. Anyway, have a great day every one. > > Life is good!
