I just approved your last post, but hasn't " sent it through " so

I'm just gonna do a new post since I have to go....

If it were me, and I were in your position, I would stay on the

Xolair and try to rule out everything else for the joint pain and

then make a decision. What I would make my decision on includes - 1)

is there a RX pain reliever that will help my joint pain sufficiently

for me to do my job AND not cause any long-term harm to my system; 2)

whether or not the joint pain is just a symptom or are there risk

factors for actual damage over the long run and 3) the degree to

which Xolair has improved my asthma.

How long have you been on Xolair? If it hasn't been long, it is

possible that if the joint pain is a side effect, that that will

diminish. We've had folks with headaches, which seems to be common,

when they start Xolair and those usually diminish after 4-6 months to

the point that folks don't get those headaches any more.

I had some issues with my hand a few years ago and they gave me an RX

for hte joint pain and it helped a lot. I had to wear a brace for a

week and then while I slept for another 3 weeks and that did the

trick, thank goodness.

Good luck and let us know how you are doing,

Addy
