Guest guest
Interesting. When I was on prednisone,, my facial skin cleared up and looked better! I don't recall having a problem with acne while on prednisone. (cea is often called adult acne. My 30 year old daughter has it but it is now very much under control. She does still put a cream on her face for it, but no longer takes antibiotics for it.) I just think that prednisone really messes up the whole system. By the way, my daughter has never been on prednisone, even though she is an asthmatic. She uses preventive medicines and takes her allergy shots very faithfully so she rarely has any problem other than an occasional cough. Congratulations, Doug, on being close to that 100 mark for shots and no reactions! That is great. uca79iii <bme1979@...> wrote: > > Hi, > > There is nothing in the mechanism of how xolair works > that it could induce acne. Are you on pred? Guest guest
I don't know about anyone else but I started using Aveeno Ultra Calming Cream at night. It is for rosacea and I saw results within a few days. But my skin wasn't terrible. Just some redness and small red bumps. It works really well for me. I am sure you probably already know this but coffee makes rosacea worse as does wine. I never really had a problem with it (rosacea) until I started on the Xolair. I can't use the Aveeno on my neck or eyes though because my skin is so sensitive. My eyelids will get puffy and my neck will itch. So I just dab a little on my cheeks and chin.
