Sorry, you are having problems with bruising.

I asked my today about that very thing today when I got my shots. She

says that one of their patients has problems with bruising so she

tries to be careful when she gives the shots. It seems that some of us

are prone to it more than others.

I guess I am one of the fortunate ones who does not have any problems.

I hope your nurse can help. Ask your doctor what he thinks too :)

Are you taking the " evil candy " as well as getting

Xolair shots?! I know why I was still on hte " evil

candy " I would get bruises the size of Texas in the

weirdest spots, like if I accidently bumped into

something, plus where my allergy shots were injected.

the bruising stinks...i do my own shots, and most times, i have

nothing, or a tiny bruise...sometimes, especially on my legs, i get

a big bruise ( i think i must be hitting some vericose veins). it

usually happens when i have to increase my ICS.

maybe you can change the injection location? i also shoot into my

belly (left and right side) and both outer/upper thighs. then, if

you bruise, its not shown off to everyone.

just a thought.

I get them too. It may be because whoever is giving

you the shots is pinching your skin to hard. When the

nurse eased up so did my bruising. Although I still

get them but they aren't so big!
