Guest guest
I got a "like new" water distiller off Ebay. I love Ebay. That's where I got my Miracle wheatgrass juicer. The bid went up and up but nobody hit his reserve. Guess he really wanted to unload it (he had gotten a new one) so after the auction he e-mailed me and offered the whole deal to me for $45 which included shipping. I grabbed it right up. If I want just about anything, I check with Ebay first. Gloria
Guest guest
Read this: Coke pulls bottled water http://www.thisislondon.com/til/jsp/modules/Article/print.jsp? itemId=9740821 This is LONDON 19/03/04 - News and city section Coke pulls bottled water By Prynn, Consumer Affairs Editor, Evening Standard Coca-Cola today recalled every bottle of its controversial " pure " mineral water Dasani in a cancer scare. It came after the 95p bottles of water were found to be contaminated with illegal levels of bromate, a potentially cancer causing chemical. Coca-Cola said all 500,000 bottles of the carbonated water, which is drawn from public water supplies in Sidcup, will be cleared from stores within 24 hours. The scare also raises disturbing questions about the quality of Thames Water's household supplies in the Sidcup area. The announcement is a huge blow to Coca-Cola's bid to establish Dasani as one of Britain's leading mineral water brands following its £7 million launch last month. The Food Standards Agency said the withdrawal was " a sensible measure as bromate is a chemical that could cause an increased cancer risk " . Coca-Cola said there was " no immediate health or safety issue " . > My brother was telling me he saw something on the news where they tested a few different kinds of bottled water being sold in stores and EVERY one of them (other than distilled) was worse than regular tap water. How that's possible I don't know, I wish I would have seen the story. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Pee Tee > health > Sent: Wednesday, August 04, 2004 3:45 PM > Subject: Water > > > I think if a person is mainly a vegetarian/organic eater and has > encorporated alot of other good stuff like PP, TN, TT etc. than you will > be getting an enormous amount of the good usable vitamins and minerals. Guest guest
I bought a Jupiter Water Ionizer about two years ago and that is all I drink. I love the taste and it has helped me to achieve a more alkaline ph...it has helped me to drink more water than I ever have before. I save the acidic water that comes out of the other tube and use it to wash my face. I'm happy with the water I drink...it has helped me in many ways..weight loss, resistance to colds and infections and has made my skin look and feel better. This is my experience with Ionized water. Guest guest
Cool. I will have to definately confuse myself further and look into ionized water. Can you ionize water after it has been distilled? (is that a dumb question??) I have two air ionizers and I like the smell in the air they make. You can get those or similar systems, that either attach to the faucet or sit on your countertop for around $40. Good idea! Don't forget to check out E-Bay. We bought the facet-type one for under $20, and you can get a deal on the filters there too. Cheers, and the K9's
