Guest guest Posted May 30, 2007 Report Share Posted May 30, 2007 Hi All, I am new to the group and new to Xolair. Today was the first Xolair shot for me. It went fairly well, the place my Dr's office uses is actually the infusion clinic at our local hospital and I was only there about an hour and a half. Most of that was waiting for the pharmacy to actually send the Xolair to the clinic. They only had me wait half an hour after the shot as far as watching for a reaction. I did have to go to the pharmacy after and get am epi pen since my Dr. had not given me that ahead of time. I did have to go though way more then I should have had too as far as my insurance was concerned to get the Xolair so hopefully it was worth the battle!!!! I guess time will tell.
