Guest guest
for starters, I have mentioned before, Fl is like God's waiting room, just take a number and have a seat. Then the wildfires came about and Fl was on fire, so it was like hell on earth. It is finally raining!!! yea!!!! Spent THursday night in the ER. I went to bed bath and beyond to purchase a wedding gift for a friend. What ever candles, potpouri's or whatever was around, I could not breathe. The asthma got bad instantaneously. (spelling may be off) the MDI, did not take effect, I ended up in the ER. And now I am back on the evil candy. Perhaps without the Xolair, I would have been worse. I think I made the associates at the store nervous. They wanted to call an ambulance. I said no, that would have been a $500 cab ride. NO THANK YOU!!! I drove, I prob should have called someone but I was 50 miles outside of where I reside. Friends said later, I should have called. However, I have learned that most times no one is available so I carry on as if no one can help. Driving was difficult. I was getting disoriented. Eventually what happened, I pulled over. A cop pulls up behind me. Oh joy! Apparently the hospital was around the corner. I was trying to find it. He followed me there. That was kind of him. long story short, I am getting better. But whew! That threw me for a loop. For a month now, the asthma has not been right. Since the smoke from the wild fires, then a darling student of mine spraying perfume in the classroom and I was out of work for the week, then another kid did it again when I returned to be vindictive. (That kid was expelled for a year as per school adinistration) Anyone who read this, thanks. I vented, all of ya's know it is now rainig in Fla. Next week I return home to my family in NY. I Hear the pollen there is not much better. I hope it is not a roller coaster ride there. I am still in contact with my asthma dr in NY. I will be getting the shots from his office. I feel a lot better in his care than some of the dr's here in Fla. (That's another issue...but I will say this...dr's need to listen to the patient, no dismiss or discount what the patient says) Anyway..... Have a great day
