Guest guest
I have gotten worse and now have an appointment at National Jewish Hospital in 2 weeks. I expect to be at Nat'l Jewish for about 2 weeks. If anyone has a question about Xolair that they would like me to ask at National Jewish, I will do my best to get an answer. Guest guest
My husband gives me my Xolair shot at home. I have had so many problems with anaphylactic reactions to tree nuts I have epinephrine at home should a reaction occur. I keep epinephrine for asthma attacks as well. My husband has been giving me my shots for about 1 1/2 years. In the beginning when I started getting Xolair shots - I would experience some tightening in my throat. I haven't had that in very long time. Suzanne ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
Guest guest
I have a few questions: 1. How is the therapeutic dose of Xolair calculated? I know there is a formula but everyone is different and therefore should not be strictly applied to every person in every case. 2. Is there an easy way, other than personal evaluation to determine if the dose Xolair is being taken by a patient is doing it job properly. I feel increasing my dose of Xolair is needed but my physician is reluctant to do so at this time. She does not rule our an increase sometime in the future if she feels it is needed. 3. Is there any hope of a inhaled version of Xolair. I am really getting tired of shots? 4. Is there a real need to remain in the doctors office 2 hours after getting the Xolair shot. 5. Is there a real threat of getting a severe reaction after receiving the injection or is this an overreaction by companies (doctors) to " cover their rear ends? " I did not know how to say this in any other way. 6. Is there any support that Xolair causes bone deterioration or weaking of joints? Let me know. Guest guest
Due to its molecular composition it will unlikely ever be available in any form other than subcue injection. C Be smarter than spam.
