Hip pain in someone who has been on lots of prednisone

can be a case of avascular necrosis of the femur head

(bad news if that is indeed the case). Tell your doc.

Mine turned pale and ordered a CT scan when that

happened.

ps turns out it was plain and simple joint pain from

too much pred - a condition my rheumatologist labeled

as " soft tissue rot " from steroids.......Physio helped mucho.

I totally agree with . It's very important that you see your

doctor without delay about this. Definitely do not wait to see if it

gets better on its own.
