Guest guest Posted May 16, 2007 Report Share Posted May 16, 2007 I thank God for xolair. I am walking around during this terrible season like I don't have asthma or allergies!!! Being able to breathe day in and out without prednisone, nebs and an inhaler is great! I like not waking up constantly at night not being able to breathe. I like not being afraid that my asthma attack might kill me this time. As time goes on I can get over the fear of going away for vaccation and not worry if there is a hospital a half a mile away. (That's how close I live to the hospital and many times had to have an ambulance get me there cas' I didn't think I'd make it alive without one) I only wish and hope in time all asthmatics who would bennefit from this drug could afford to receive it. It scares me thinking I could loose my health insurance in the near future. For those of you just starting please give the drug enough time to work. Everyone is different. I am grateful for my Dr. and Genntech and I am thankful for this group which so has helped me to understand things , along with their support.
