My Medical insurance costs Yikes!

I have been blessed by an insurance company that has given me no

hassle about filling my Xolair prescriptions or paying the doctors

office for the injections. It is Highmark BCBS but the Rx portion of

my policy is covered by MedcoRx.

Oh, I DO pay dearly for this great covrage. This January, my monthly

premium will shoot up from 915.00 a month for my wife and I to

$1,088.00. That is $13,056 of my yearly salary, over 1/4 of what I

make. Add that to my out of pocket expenses and co payments and it is

almost half.

Praise the Lord he has provided my wife a job to keep our mortgage and

grocery bills paid.

Every time I get a raise, it is always eaten up plus more by higher

insurance and medical costs.

On the bright side........ at least I have coverage.

I guess I shouldn't complain. At least I HAVE coverage. I am sure

there are a lot of our group members who pay a lot more than I do and

then there are those of you who are having hassles with getting your

insurance to pay or getting ANY coverage.
