Pollen Counts

Here's a good link for keeping an eye on the Pollen counts in your area. I'm

not specifically allergic to pollen but when it gets this high it does bother

me. I guess any extreme levels of any particulate matter will bother us

asthmatics.

The storms have finally blown thru, our air conditioning is back on (after an

entire week), and I'm on day 3 of a 6-day steriod burst after spending 3 hours

in the ER the other night. The high humidity, bouncing around from hotel to

hotel (damn dust mites), and no air conditioning (at times) was just too much

for my lungs to bear. Had my Xolair shot today and I feel like I'm back on the

upswing. It's been a tuff August. Perhaps the fall will bring us some crisp,

clean air.
