Hi Everyone!

I have been receiving Xolair shots since beginning these shots.I

receive 3 at a time and have done so a matter of five times. My problem

is I am hoarse now a lot! I sound like someone who has smoked for years.

Does anyone else out there experienced this?

I have been on Xolair since September 2003. I am hoarse too but it

came on just a few weeks ago. My Allergist and ENT say that it is NOT

because of the xolair but because I am not drinking enough water. I

am now up to the required 2 quarts a day and doing much better.

I NEED my voice to work. I am a music minister.

A lot of asthmatics experience GERD--better known as acid reflux and that can

sometimes cause hoarseness on a regular basis if it is not treated. I know that

when I fail to take my acid reflux medicine before supper, I wake up in the

morning with hoarseness, crud in my throat and a cough.

I would talk to my doctor about this as the hoarseness could also be from

something else.

Just a suggestion.
