I am glad I am not the only one where xolair cut the

pred but not completely. I am on 7.5 mg QD and even if

my lungs did cooperate, which they are not, my endo

wont let me go below 5 mg until I go 1) 4 months at 5

mg and not a drop more and 2) pass my ACTH stim test

scheduled for December and do significantly better

than the last one which I flunked hard.

Soo this may never happen as she told me to book the

stim test once I had hit the 4 month mark. Sad.

BUT this still represents a significant improvement

(eg greater than 50% on hospitalizations and pred

dose) so the xolair reps I talked to consider me to be

a success.

Am I as cured as Doug??? Sadly no. But it is

definitely better. And it may get even better than

this so who knows!!

(whose body may never look the same from all the pred)
