I DO know what the long term effects of Prednisone are and it is a

very dangerous future. This is why I don't worry about long term

Xolair use. I am so grateful that Xolair got me off of that nasty drug.

We all know how long term use of prednisone can harm our bodies. But HOW do

we know what the overall long term use of Xolair is? It really hasnt been

around all that long from what I know. So how do we know that sometime down the

road that it wont do just as much harm? Whats the longest anyone in this

group have been on it? This is my only concern for putting my son on the drug!

The drug is fairly new in my area. In fact i believe it just came to the

states. There are many drugs that come to the states..the doctors start using

them and a couple of years down the road they take it of the market! :( This

is my biggest concern!

Ginger,

I am sorry you feel this way.

As I have said many times before on this board. If you have concerns

about taking xolair, then you have every right not to take it.
