I haven't been on this board for a while but this peaked my interest.

I am also on Methotrexate (10mg per week -- ramping up by 10mg every

month till we get to 40....) I just got off Cytoxan (200mg).

Here is what I can tell you from my experience:

You are suppose to take Folic Acid while on Methotrexate. (it helps

with the hair loss and some other side effects -- you take the folic

acid daily while you only take the methotrexate weekly). Most doctors

also perscibe a thrice weekly antibiotic to ward off infections while

on this drug.

Your body needs time to adjust. My body likes to 'shut down' the

first 48 hours after it gets into my system.

I can't imagine there are many people out there on Methotrexate and

Xolair and since this is off the Xolair subject -- email me privately

and we'll converse about the Methotrexate.
