Guest guest
Go to www.xolair.com and do a search for SPOC. SPOC is a program Genentec and Novartis have for people who have all kinds of insurance problems. ie:not being able to afford Xolair, being denied use of Xolair,+ etc. --- Momto4wild1s@... wrote: > My insurance company has denied the Xolair for my > son. Guest guest
You can find the information at www.spoconline.com. Your Dr's office should have the forms for you to sign for them to help you out as well. I was denied by my insurance the first time though as well. ----- Original Message ---- From: K K <grneyyedlady@...> Sent: Thursday, June 28, 2007 8:49:40 PM Subject: Re: [ ] Xolair denial Go to www.xolair.com and do a search for SPOC. (insert near fatal eye roll here Nan...Im not sure who reported it all to them..But surely my son has been diagnosed with asthma since age 15 months..HyperActive airway disease was the dx prior to that! So as for meds..there hasnt been a single day in the past 5 years that he hasnt had to use his rescue inhaler..we've never gone more than 5 days without using the neb machine. during this five years he has been on numerous steroids..oral and inhaled. Its ridiculous how they have " missed " that in his records. On Monday we have a peer to peer phone conference with our pulmo and the insurance doctor. Hopefully he will set the record straight then! I wonder if one of your doctor's is writing that....remember insurances hate to pay anything, and any wiggle room plays into their denial favor. I'm wondering what is being charted. The only other thing I think the insurance is saying, that because your son has bounced through so many medications in a short time frame, you are not " giving the cheaper stuff " a fair shake.
