Guest guest
hello Marcia, You will be in my thoughts and prayers this Tuesday for a speedy recovery. I have to put my 2 cents in about the epidural. I had one along with being put to sleep. When he first put the epidural it the meds caused me to have and asthmia attack. It toks a couple to get it right. What I didn't like was depending on the nurses to give me more pain meds. Since I had the epidural I could got get a pain pump for 48 hours. Put I could get additional pain control throught my IV. My problem was getting the nurse to give me the shot when I asked for them. So times I would have to wait 30 to 45 mins until I got the shot by then I would really be hurting. So needless to say the next time I do this I will opt for the pain pump and no epidural. That way I have control of my own pain control insteading of having to depend on the hospital staff. Just my option Marcia..... As for me I am doing pretty good. I am still have problems with being very tired these last few days so it has made it hard for me to want to do my excersices. I may have to go to the doctor on Monday to have my blood checked and make sure my Red count has increased. I lost a lot of blood and my count was still low after a transfusion of my own blood. Other then that I am doing pretty good. I am still only at 95 ROM. I am very disappointed in myself because I was doing so good in the beginning. I think it is time for me to get in PT. Home nurse says I am still doing good....we will see. I am going to be good and do extra excersices today. Kim
