Guest guest
Doug and I have been contacted by a group member who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. This is the first time (that we can recall, anyway) that anyone who has signed up for the group has reported being diagnosed with cancer in the more than four years since Doug started the group, and we have more than 500 members. Whether any of the more than 500 members have been diagnosed since starting Xolair and just chosen not to share, well, of course we have no way of knowing. We have assured our fellow member that he is welcome to inform the group himself, because we know how supportive y'all are, and because we're sure that more than one of you has a family member who has dealt with this and those of you in that particular " sub group " may be able to offer support and resources to this member via email. We do not wish to begin again any discussions surrounding the incidents of cancer reported in the clinical trials. Those have been discussed in previous threads, and we invite any of you who want information about the incidents of cancer reported in the trials to read those previous threads by doing a search for them. Neither Doug nor I are aware of any new information related to any possible link with Xolair and cancer. Addy Group co-owner
